Position Overview:
We currently have an opening for a Manager, Electronic Commerce. The responsibilities of the Manager, Electronic Commerce include partnering with business units to develop creative solutions using e-commerce technology that will enhance the enterprise’s competitive advantage. Directs the implementation of e-Commerce services and businesses for the enterprise or specific business units. Responsible for the daily management of e-Commerce, EDI Transactions, and staff. Possesses professional experience and knowledge in a variety of net-centric computing architectures and technologies. Possesses an operational knowledge of key business processes and understands the technology either utilized or needed for their operation. Strong Project Management expertise is essential.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Safety: Your compliance with all company safety rules, procedures and guidelines is essential.
- Test, implement, and maintain all EDI transactions and file problems.
- Develop and maintain trading partner definitions to include relevant translation objects utilizing EDI translation software tools.
- Handle communications with trading partners for EDI transaction set-up and ongoing maintenance.
- Coordinate between trading partners and networks to ensure mapping compliance.
- Develop new business opportunities utilizing EDI.
- Resolve technical mapping variations or gaps and first-level troubleshooting issues in production environment.
- Develop guidelines, checklists, procedures and training documentation.
- Must be able to communicate at the appropriate level with team members, management and end users.
- Must be able to interact with outside vendors/consultants in a professional and knowledgeable manner.
- Monitor the daily processing of EDI Transactions.
Requirements:
- Requires Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field. Or equivalent work experience.
- 7 – 10 years of Managing an EDI Team.
- Experience in implementing and maintaining EDI Transactions for the CPG industry utilizing Sterling Gentran Integration Suite 4.2, iSoft AS2 Commerce Suite, and SAP 4.6c/ECC 6.0 EDI processing using IDOC’s.

Strong experience in Business Process development and Mapping in Sterling Gentran Integration Suite 4.2

Experience using MS Office ( Word, Excel, Outlook) products to assist in managing the essential business functions..
