Job Description:

SENIOR CONSULTANT - An essential position that requires a self-directed individual to effectively manage and execute multiple electronic data interchange (EDI) implementation projects at any given point in time while providing maximum value to Trubiquity's client base. This includes the mapping and integration of numerous EDI transaction sets using Trubiquity's world-class TRUedx solution as well as other third-party ERP integration products.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Develops and implements comprehensive TRUedx EDI communication, translation and integration solutions for customers on a wide variety of ERP Software Packages, including (but not limited to) QAD, Oracle and SAP.
• Identifies opportunities to advance customer business processes and technical operations through the expanded use of Trubiquity SaaS and Enterprise solutions.
• Provides second-level assistance to our industry-leading Customer Service Team.
• § Delivers and incorporates customer ideas and industry information to Trubiquity’s development team providing leading MFT functionality for the TRUedx solution.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS:

• Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology (any combination of education, certifications and experience that provides the knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the essential functions of this position may be substituted for formal training)
• Project Management skills as position will require candidate to coordinate several projects simultaneously
• 6 – 10 years of EDI implementation and integration experience in manufacturing, retail or health care
• 4 – 6 years of experience with the following programming languages; PERL, C#, C++, Java and Progress
• Proficient in the following EDI Formats; ANSI X.12, EDIFACT, ODETTE, RND and VDA
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Must be self-directed and able to work with limited direction

LANGUAGE SKILLS:

• Native English speaking with excellent written communication skills
• German, Japanese, French, Spanish, Chinese, or Korean language skills a benefit

OTHER INFORMATION:

• Full time exempt
• Reports to Professional Services Manager
• Located in Troy, MI
• Minimal travel required
